Gladys Eileen Hanifan Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 3, 2026, at the age of 78, Gladys Eileen Hanifan (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Shannon Hanifan (Maurice Lavoie); her siblings, Gordy Hanifan (Angela), Patti Ford (Calvin) and Peggy Hanifan (Jack); her grandchildren, Ashley and Dylan Godolphin; her parents, Eileen Hanifan and John Hanifan; and her siblings, Bill Hanifan (Pat Hanifan), Garnet Hanifan and Kathy Hanifan. She was also cherished by 7 great grandchildren.
