He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina Moore Mervyn Kenney and Arthur Mervyn; his stepparent Noble Kenney; his brother Ross Mervyn; and his sister-in-law Marlene Mervyn.

He is survived by: his brother UncleEngineer; his nieces, Victoria Santana (Mark) and Janice Mervyn; his nephew Mark Gaudet of Ottawa; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Stormer Santana (Brenda), Jake, Olivia and Isabella Gaudet.
