She was loved and cherished by many people including : her sons, Jay and Greg (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Kristin and Adam (Sara); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Kaitlyn, Noah and Graeme; and her husband Ed Dinsdale. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A2L9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions payable online or by cheque may be made to the Legion Poppy Fund or St. Luke's Cathedral in Gwen's honour.
