Hilkka Luoma Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2025, Hilkka Luoma (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Hilkka's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Hilkka's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lenni; her grandson Jack Szostak; and her pet Mummu. She is survived by: her daughter Erika (Jamie Hamilton); and her brother Martti Maenpaa (Mirja) of Alavus, Finland.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Autism Ontario - Adult Programs, or Breaking Away SSM, in honour of her grandson, Jack.
