She was predeceased by: her son Vincenzo; her parents, Alfonso Lucio and Rosina Lucio; her siblings, Luigi Lucio (late Rosetta), Antonietta Vena (late Eugenio) and Ottavio Lucio (Rose); her parents-in-law, Vincenzo and Emilia Runco; and her brother-in-law Eugenio Runco.
She is survived by: her husband Luigi; her children, Marcello (Maria), Emilia Rizzo (Frank) and Stephen (Sara); her grandchildren, Luigi Runco (Lisa), Iolanda Garon (Alex), Mario Rizzo (Chrystal), Matthew Rizzo (Danielle), Mainna Rizzo and Sabrina Runco; and her siblings, Gina Vaccaro (late Gino), Eugenio Lucio (Franca) and Giuseppe Lucio (Beatrice).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District would be greatly appreciated by the family.
