He was predeceased by: his stepson Richard Macknight; and his parents, James Brooks and Melba Brooks. He is survived by: his wife May Brooks; his sons, Mike Brooks and Gary Brooks (Elizabeth); his stepchildren, Jennifer Macknight (Scott) and Chris Macknight; and his grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Anastasia, Ryan, Abby, Tyler and Jordyn.
