She was predeceased by: her father Rosaire Lariviere. She is survived by: her husband Michael Thornton; her children, Jasmine Lewis, Alexis Schisler (Tyler Schisler) and Laura Thornton (Travis Foley); her grandchildren, Andre, Tristen, Lorieli, Slater, Freya, Rorik and Emma; her mother Karen Pine Hurst; and her brother Ross Sayers. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 (96 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6B4Y5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Tracey's Dream and Algoma Residential Community Hospice.
