He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner and Lisa. He is survived by: his spouse Terry; his daughter Renée Ragnitz (Claude); his stepdaughters, Emily Dunn (James) and Janey Dunn (James); his grandchildren, Alexander, Graydon, Aubrynn, Trace and Cheyenne; his siblings, Yvonne Ragnitz (Tim), Adelita Ragnitz (Peter) and Helmut Ragnitz (Sharynn); and his sibling-in-law Jamie Nylander.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre (50 Pim St, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A3G4).
