With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Anne Secord (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on August 3, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Anne Secord to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Dr. Geoffrey Secord; her child Hilary McKinley; and her granddaughter Tara McKinley. She is survived by : her children, Sara Trotter, Susan Harnden (Eric) and Christopher Appleton (Kelly Anne); her brother Donald Mitchell (Wendy); and her grandchildren, E. J. Harnden (Rachelle), Ryan Harnden (Jasmine), Meghan Majic (Adam), Kaitlyn Trotter, Bryn Gelinas (Keith), Erin Appleton, Dane Appleton (Emily), Adam McKinley, Taylor McKinley, Mike Lowe and Liam Lowe. She is also survived by her many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Alzheimer's Society or the F.J. Davey Home Foundation would be most appreciated.
