He was predeceased by: his daughter Marlene Hayes-Sheen; and his parents, Thomas Hayes-Sheen and Edith Hayes-Sheen. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Janet Ambeault (Thom), Lorie Allen (Steve) and Alison Miskimin (Terry); his grandchildren, Megan Katagis (Tom), John Ambeault, Andrew Allen, Stephanie Allen (Alex Richard), Mathew Miskimin and Julia Miskimin (Jude Miller); his great grandchildren, Macy, Layla and Kiera; and his siblings, Freida Sanzosti (late Sam), Charles (late Mary), Thomas (Kathleen), Patrick (Margaret), Joan Palamarchuk (late Mike) and Barbara Grimson (late Ron).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste Marie would be appreciated by the family.
