She was predeceased by: her husband Guy Charpentier; her grandson Justin; her parents, Anthony Diotte and Helen Diotte; and her brother Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Smith, Monica Smith Sammit (Larry), Kathy Smith and David Smith (Tina Mejaki); her grandchildren, David, Jake, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Alex, Owen, Cassandra and Natalie; her great grandchildren, William and Joseph; her pet Oscar; and her siblings, Ron (Irma), Lynda Porter and Kerry (Clare).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
