He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey and Ted; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Lindsay (Phil Smith) and Ken (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Nathan, Emma, Noah, Bryson, Alyssa, Billy and Hazel; his siblings, Ron (Grace), Charlie (Sharon), Maureen (Durk), Anne (John), Mary (Ian) and Joy (Mike); his sister-in-law Dorothy (late Gery); and his niece Deidre Harrington (Chris). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Algoma Autism Foundation.
