She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Kerr and Albert Kerr; her husband Edvin Townsend; her grandson Jonathon; and her sister Dorothy Hart (late Seward).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ann (George), Catherine Jean, Heather (Claude Francis) and Joseph (Tami); her grandchildren, Geoffrey (Julie), Ruth (Jeff), Raymond (Tom) and Natalie (Cameron); her sisters, Winifred Rhodes (late Robert) and Hazel Prendergast (late Ellis); and her great grandchildren, Rowan, Audrey, Patricia and Abigail.
