She was predeceased by: her spouse Jozsef Schmidt; her parents, Rowden Varcoe and Cora Varcoe; and her siblings, Hazel (late Jules), James (late June), Forrest (Anne) and Donald (late Dorothy).
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph (Gayle), Ronald (Michele) and Steven (Theresa); her grandchildren, David (Ally), Cody (Alyssa), Melanie, Jocelyn and Keaton (Kayla); her great grandchild Sebastian; and her close friend Anne Varcoe.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Luke's Cathedral in her honour.
