It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norris William Elwood Pyette (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Jamie Grandmont (David); his parents, Norman Pyette and Dora Pyette; his siblings, Dolores Burk (Gary) and Nelson; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Elva Booth; and his brother-in-law Gary Booth (Joyce).

He is survived by: his wife Sharron; his daughters, Vicki Schryer (Ron), Jill Pyette and Brenda Pierman (Pat); his grandchildren, Becky Campagna (Paolo), Gary Schryer (Jody), Luke Grandmont (Amanda), Mark Grandmont, Alycia Wharram (Matt), Josh Varcoe, Amy Pinkus, Jenna Pierman (Mark) and Kenny Pierman; his great grandchildren, Sammi (Cristian), Dante (Daelyn), Deago, Riley, Reagan, Caleb, Aidan, Emily, Maddie, Noah and Myles; his great great grandchild Luka; and his sister Luanne Gamoyda (late Bert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Cancer Care Fund or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 would be appreciated.
