She was predeceased by: her husband Heikki; and her mother Justiina Kangas. She is survived by: her children, Äiti and Paul Oikari (Julie); her grandchildren, Melissa Watson (Jacey), Hayley Campbell (Brandon), Jordan Oikari (Olivia Pavoni), Maija Jones (Matt) and Brian Irvine (Dana Lowry); her great grandchildren, Corbin, Emery Watson, Laney, Hanson, Wilder Campbell, Tuukka, Ava Oikari and Gordie Jones; and her cousin Kirsti Luostarinen.
