He was predeceased by: his parents, Yrjo and Vieno; and his siblings, Oili, Riitta and Lasse.
He is survived by: his wife Elisa Kortesmaki; his children, Eeva Hopley (late Allan) and Jyrki Koro (Patricia Nadon-Koro); and his siblings, Markus Koro and Ritva Koro.
