It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Petrus Josephus Van Hoof (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Hoof and Francisca Van Hoof. He is survived by : his wife Nelly; his children, Gerry (Lori), Sylvia Funk (Greg), Marian Brooks (Randy), Patty (Dan Fisher), Pete and Tommy (Wendy-Jo); and his grandchildren, Brandie (Jordan), Matthew, Jamie (Heather), Jesse (Kimberly), Kristen (Shaun), Kimberly (Tyler), Corey (Chelsea), Jon (Amelia), Josh (Amber), Tristan (Tiia), Camryn, Rhiannon, Layla, Landon, Austin, Avery, Aria, Emalynn, Norah, MacKenzie and Jack. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Centre Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to Tracy's Dream would be appreciated by the family.
