He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Erickson and Linnea Erickson; his brother Bill Erickson (Patricia); his parents-in-law, Ethel and Ab Dorrance; and his sister-in-law Gloria.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Erickson (Trepasso); his children, Janet Allen (Bob) and Philip (Marylou); his grandchildren, Britta Lawrence (Blake), Erik Allen, Haley Oliver (Chris), Mackenzie Erickson and Jesse Erickson; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Litterick (late John), Ted Miron, Debbie Valente (late Frank) and Rick Enfelis (Donna).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be payable by cheque or online to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund in Phil's honor.
