She was predeceased by: her husband Mario; her daughter Maria Luiza; her grandson Anthony (Abigail); her parents, Pasquale Caruso and Antonia Caruso; and her siblings, Alessandro Caruso (late Palmina), Emilia Briglio (late Eduardo), Ernesto Caruso (late Matilde), Ortenzia Sdao (late Francesco), Christina Spina (late Gabriele), Francesco Caruso (late Francesca) and Palma Briglio (late Gasper).
She is survived by: her sons, Antonio (Bev) and John (Patricia); her grandchildren, Candace (Corey) and Mathew (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Adam, Anthony and Carissa; and her sisters, Giuseppina Mazarello (late Ernesto) of Ottawa and Carmela Bossio (late Geniale).
A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (27 Fourth Line E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6C3X1).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste Marie & Algoma District, St. Veronica's Church or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
