With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reta Kathryn Winslade (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on January 6, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Reta departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Reta may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Reta leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ross; her children, Tim (Sirpa), Heather (Ben) and Nancy (Brian); her grandchildren, Katrina (Meredith), Marita, Nuria and Alida; and her siblings, Bill (Wilda) and Ruth (late Dave).
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 2L9).
