She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward "Ted" McCaig and Donna Pierce; her sisters, Sherry (McCaig) and Patty McCaig Belsito; her grandparents, Launce, Ann Eakett, Thomas and Nellie McCaig; her siblings' children, Denver Beaton (Christine), Jennifer Pister (David), Thomas Beaton (Nicole), Victor Beaton (Jessica), Alyssa Belsito and Isaac Belsito (Riley); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason, William Pister and Sullivan Beaton; her uncle Melvyn Eakett (Lynne); her friends, Elaine Windus and Carol Goodmurphy; Eva Pateman (late Lawrence), Mae Haight (late Carl), Thelma Haight (late Randal), Jack McCaig (late Ruth), Rhoda MacMillan, Margaret Noble, Ivan McCaig (late Phyllis), Fred McCaig (Gail Gardiner) and Bernie McCaig (Gale).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:45 PM at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 2L9). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
