It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard John Cote (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Goguen and Howard Cote; his siblings-in-law, Mel Laffrenere (Bette), Lori Lance (Luc) and Margaret Laffrenere-Raven; Patricia Bender.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his daughter Nicole Taylor (Richard) of Marana, Arizona.; his grandchildren, Brett Marshall (Jess), Kate Hall (Cody), Trace, Josh Taylor and Declan Marshall; and his extended family England. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Greenwood Cemetery (27 Fourth Line E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6C3W8). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sandro's Family Restaurant (465 Trunk Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A3T1).
