Rita Reed Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Reed (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on August 16, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her parents, Pat Belsito and Ida Belsito; her siblings, Joe (late Loretta), Mary (late Jerry Goodship), Ted and Wayne (Evelyn); her parents-in-law, Cecil and Edna Reed; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Reed, Isabel King (late Cliff), Richard (Arla) and Peter (Audrey).
She is survived by: her children, Patrick (Marney), Marilyn (Fern Delarosbil) and Douglas (Linda Clargo); her grandchildren, Katrina (Brandon Milne), Joe, Michael, Melissa (Yannick), Ryan (Jenna), Krista (Scott) and Taylor (Kasondra); her brother Fred (Arlene); and her sisters-in-law, Judy Routledge (Robbie) and Carol Naphan (late Paul). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7).
Memorial donations to The Ontario Finnish Resthome (OFRA) or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
