He is survived by: his wife Fern; his child Kim St. Denis-Hykel (Peter); his grandchildren, Justin Hykel (Tianna), Kaitlin Hykel (Nathan) and Sydney; his siblings-in-law, Brian Badelt (Joanne), Lynne Shand (Dave) and Wendy Gibson (Ron); his nephews, Brad (Amanda), Brian Jr. (Randi), Ryan, Riley and Darcie; and his sister Sandra Dore (Vic).
