He was predeceased by: his son Bruce; and his siblings, Grover, Spencer, Frank, Orville, Edna and Gloria.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his children, Susan, Philip and Carol Bird-Thompson; his grandchildren, Joshua (Brianne), Chantelle Farelli, Carly, Jordan, Alayna Horton (Darren), Jeremy Beaumier (Agnes) and Amber; his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Lucas, Raya, Ellie and Theo; and his close friend Reg Martin. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
