With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Friyia (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on January 31, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Vincent; and her parents, Elizabeth Watson and Dave Watson. She is survived by : her children, Pat (Dan), Vince Jr. (Ana-Sira), Betty Mortimer (Terry), Dan (Joanna) and Andy (Lisa); her grandchildren, Tom (Erin), Melonie (Ryan), Jennifer (Stephanie), Daniel (Steffi), Samantha, Vince, Cole and Jillian; her great grandchildren, Carter, Ellie, Cohan and Isla; her brother Tom Watson (Sharon); her sister-in-law Helen Friyia; her siblings, David, Jean, Betty, Mary, Pat, Heather, Duncan and Georgina; and her siblings-in-law, Isabel, Teresa, Jean, Blanche, James, Joseph, Tony and Savaltore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
