Shirley McBurney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2025, Shirley McBurney (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Raymond McBurney; her brother Glen Gray (June); and her sisters-in-law, Maxine and Lucille. She is survived by: her children, Mark, Shawn (Carole), Michael (Céline), James (Amanda), Jason (Stacy) and Catherine (Matthew); her grandchildren, Cody, Brandon Mikaela, Aidan, Alec, Olivia and Ava; her brothers, Don Gray (May) and Merle Gray (Maye); and her brothers-in-law, Cliff Cochrane, Lorne Greenwood and William McBurney. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and dear old friends.
