He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac "Lizim" Boyer and Nora Boyer (Mainville); and his siblings, Greg (Tito), Leslie, Mary, Madeleine and Barbie.

He is survived by: his grandchild Devon; his daughter Margaret (Jason); and his nephew Corey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association Algoma would be greatly appreciated by the family.
