Virve Wight Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virve Wight (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Virve is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Virve's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Howard Wight; her children, Cephas (Myriam), David (Elsen), Esther (Mark) and Matthew; and her grandchildren, Seth, Charlotte, Walter, Dallas, Lavina and Isaac.
