He was predeceased by: his child Dean Sherlock; his grandchild Dakota; his parents, James Sherlock and Agnes Sherlock; and his siblings, Jerry (Donna), Bud (Darlene), Merlin (Ronnie), Lornie (Jean), Sonny (Marveen), Sam (Margaret), Mary (Bill), Pat (Bucky) and Doreen (Gord).

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Vicki (Gilles), Robbie (Denise) and Darryl (Jill); his grandchildren, Kyle, Tristen, Noah (Grace), Sophia and Kaylee Ann; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Goulet (Rene) and Marsha Therrien (Michael).
