He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Rankin and William Chornobey Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mavis; his children, William Chornobey III, Lori (Justin), Cody (Merissa), Dylan (Nicole) and Chad (Amanda); his grandchildren, Colton, Calvin, Brantley, Juliet, Santina, Tucker, Malia, Lexi, Leland, Evelyn and Beckham; his siblings, Grace Chornobey, Derik Chornobey, Cindy Fletcher, Blake Chornobey and Jim Rankin; and his caregiver Dawn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family.
