He was predeceased by: his parents, Mosey Gallant and Lauretta Gallant; his son Allan Francis; his brothers, Leo (Theresa), Edgar (Lois), Tilman (Irma), Elmer (Marie) and Martin; and his stepsister Marion (Marcel).

He is survived by: his children, Brian (Debbie), Shirley, Christine (Richard) and Barbara; his children-in-law, Richard (Christine) and Debbie (Brian); his wife Margaret; his grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Michael, Katie and Elizabeth; his sisters, Mildred (Clarence), Edna (Bill), Beatrice (Tony) and Marie (Joe); and his stepbrother Clifford (Rita). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
