He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Gatto (Vallely); his children, Sam and Emily; his siblings, Sebastian, Nella (Bob) and Lucy (Nurhan); his nieces and nephews, Rosie, Sam, Tina, Michael, Giancarlo, Elissia, Marissa and Alessandro; his sisters-in-law, Carol and Julie; his pets, Bella, Zorro and Kato; and his parent Toronto. He was also cherished by his family and many close friends.
