She was predeceased by: her parent Sape Siemens Kooistra; her husband Sjoerd; and her daughter Foekje. She is survived by: her parent Jeltje Kooistra (Vander Veen); her children, Janet, Alice (Glenn), John (Mary) and Florence (late Danny); her grandchildren, Tanya (Robert), Susan (Will), Wendy (Pascal), Michael (Sarah) and Mark; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Luke and Levi.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Grietje's memory may be made to Emmanuel Reformed Church.
