We announce the death of Joan De Leon of Scarborough, Ontario, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 60. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Joan will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Joan’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her father José Anastacio. She is survived by: her mother Perpetua of Taguig, Philippines; her husband Marc; her sons, Adrian (Wynton) of New York, NY and Anders (Avery) of Scarborough, ON; and her siblings, Catherine (Engelbert) of Dubai, UAE and Allan (Jenniffer) of Scarborough, ON.

Viewing was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel (2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5). A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christ the King Cemetery (7770 Steeles Ave E, Markham, ON L6B1A8). A reception was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel (2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5).
