He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kitay and Anna Kitay. He is survived by : his wife Diane; his children, Tami (Jack) and Jonathan (Elyse); his stepchildren, Sheryl (Kent) and Steven (Gayle); his grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla; his brother Jim (Marilyn); his niece Tanya (Ray); his nephew Peter (Fatma); and his aunt Ruby Beale. He is also survived by many cousins and their extended families.
