John Guy Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Guy (Scarborough, Ontario), who passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John Guy to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Guy and Adina Guy; and his siblings, Joseph, Iris, Moses, Mavis, Doris, Ethlyn and Jonathan.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his children, Peter (Enza), Janine, Michael (Carolyn) and James (Susana); his grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssa, Andrea, Michaela, Justin, Cara, Miquel, Ricard and Armand; and his siblings, Evangeline, Judith, Kipling, Wellworth and Sharon.

As John's disease progressed, and he could recall only his earliest years, there was solace knowing that the names and places he spoke of were familiar to the Jamaican caregivers who would interact with him daily.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
