With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John McNab Beattie (Scarborough, Ontario), who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John McNab "Mac" Beattie of Driver's Song and Marie Beattie. He is survived by: his wife Zuraidah; his children, Michael, Christopher, Scott and Mackenzie; and his siblings, Rodger (Sharon), Bonnie (Robert) and Peter (Paula). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you take a few minutes from your busy day to consider something John may have written or said to you in the past that put a smile on your face.

“Bonnie & Peter We were so sorry to hear of John's passing, He sure was truly a remarkable man & will be sorely missed We will never forget the Christmas Eve at your parents house years ago when Heather & Jay were little when John & Peter went to your mom's shop, called the house, pretended they were Santa & Rudolph, we couldn't get those kids home fast enough. So many stories we have but this one was our best. Will miss you John Jim, Shirley & Heather Badgley”
