She was predeceased by: her husband Eric Franklin Sherk; her grandchild Beverley (Christian); her siblings, Marshall, Stella, Thomas Graham and Ralda; and her parents, Isabella Thomas and Abraham Neilson.

She is survived by: her children, Eric Brent, Jan, Lance (Carrie), Larry (Elisa), Bruce (Lisa) and Lorne (Anne Marie); her grandchildren, Victoria (Matthew), Jordan, Rachael, Courtney, Tyrus, Rebecca, Ranzel, Mason, Jacob and Lawson; her great grandchildren, Cian, Isabella, Jack and Cristel; and her siblings, Audrey, Gwendolyn, Gary and Carol.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
