He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Vanslack and Jack Elijah Vanslack; and his siblings, Betty, Janet, Alfred, Arville, David and Bill.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason (Lausanne) and Bronson (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Talon and Larissa Vanslack; his daughter Jean Garbas; and his siblings, Patricia Crumb, Jeannie Coles and Doug McIntee (Brenda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
