With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Orest Jakym in Scarborough, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maksim Jakym and Anna Jakym; and his sister-in-law Mary (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Anne; his daughters, Crystal (David Hatcher) and Vanessa; his siblings, Mary (late Terry Latta) and Alex (Rita); and his brothers-in-law, Steven Bernacki (Anna) and Mike Bernacki (late Christine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
