Theophanis Perdikis Obituary
Passed away on September 1, 2017 at the age of 93 at the Hellenic Home Scarborough after a lengthy battle with dementia. He was beloved husband to Polyxeni for almost 55 years, father to Panayiota and Aikaterini, grandfather to Theodore, Michael, Alexander and Emily. Theophanis immigrated to Toronto from Greece in 1957 and remained proud of his Greek heritage.
He had a love of music and was fortunate to have worked as a barber until the age of 88. He is now at peace and will be remembered by his entire family forever. Our family would like to express our gratitude to all the staff at the Hellenic Home who provided compassionate care to him during his last few difficult years. Visitation will take place at Paul O"Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave East (between Pharmacy and Warden) on Tuesday, September 5th from 4 pm – 8 pm.
A church service will take place on Wednesday, September 6th at 10:00 am at the Hellenic Home Scarborough, 2411 Lawrence Avenue East (Kennedy and Lawrence) and interment at Pine Hills Cemetery. Any donations can be made to the Hellenic Home for the Aged or St. George's Greek Orthodox Church.
