It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Richard Bennett of Scarborough, Ontario, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Wayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his father David Bennett. He is survived by: his mother Deborah Bennett (Giles); and his siblings, Carol Witt (Jeff), Keith (Sarah) and Diane Hurd. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel (2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
