Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his sister Linda; and his parents, Bert Gardhouse and Bertha Gardhouse. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his daughter Becky; his son-in-law Tom Freiday; and his friend Kevin Holmes (Stephanie). He is also survived by nephew, his cousins, extended family and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Trisan Centre (25 Dillane Dr, Schomberg, ON L0G1T0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed's memory may be made to the Ontario 4-H Association (https://4-hontario.ca) or the Georgian Bay Steam Show — two organizations close to his heart.
