He is survived by : his spouse Maryke Bennell; his children, Adrianne Martin (James), Natasha Ostrander (Shane), Michael (Barbara), Francis, Maria Procher (Christopher) and John-Paul (Laura); his grandchildren, Dylan, Brook-Lynn, Bryan, Maria, Charlotte, Phoebe, William, Constantine, Tobias, Maximillian and Claire; and his brothers, Bernard (Christine) and David (Karen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
