He was predeceased by: his wife Aileen Manuel (Eaton); his siblings-in-law, Glen Eaton and Lorne Ward; his parents-in-law, Walter and Mary Eaton; and his mother Colleen Manuel.

He is survived by: his children, Amanda and Tom Mawson; his grandchildren, Brittany, Adam, Sabrina, Aaron, Brayden, Nathan, Sky, Trevor, Rebecca, Michael and Jesse; his great grandchildren, Caleb and Paisley; his sisters, Donna Oakley and Cheryl Brock; his siblings-in-law, Larry, Cathi Eaton, Keith, Joan Eaton, Eric, Olive Eaton and Brenda Ward; and his friends, Murray Gates and Bob Costello. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
