He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Koenig (Kennedy); his children, Susan, Bill Garrick of Seaforth, George, Brenda Koenig of Listowel, Theresa, Michael Darroch of Fergus, MaryLou and Paul Looser of Lougheed, Alberta.; his grandchildren, Alexander, Lisa, Melissa, Tiffany, Scott and Adam; his parents, Eldon Koenig and Mary Koenig (Weber); his brothers, Jack and Lorne; his siblings-in-law, Jean, Chester, Leon, Elwood and Russell; his siblings, Darlene Baird of Hanover, Bruce, Bonnie Koenig of Southampton, Earl and Linda Koenig of Fordwich; and his siblings-in-law, Vera Koepke, Marion Behrns, Bruce, Ellen Kennedy, Gerald, Doreen Kennedy, Walter Bender, Elaine and Larry Capes.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home (44 John St S, Harriston, ON N0G1Z0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church (135 Elora St S, Harriston, ON N0G1Z0).
