He was predeceased by: his wife Betty (Rowcliffe); his daughter Barbara Ann; his son-in-law Bill Southgate; his sisters, Ila Jory and Winnifred Crocker; his brothers-in-law, Donald Jory, Jack Rowcliffe and James Rowcliffe (Anna); his nephews, Daniel Jory and Mark Crocker; and his parents, Alfred Tilley and Edna Tilley (Witzel).
He is survived by: his children, Helen Southgate, Brian Oldfield of Seaforth, David and Joanne Tilley of London; his grandchildren, Katherine, Rick Meier of Clinton, Angela, Neil Douglas of Russeldale, Andrew Southgate of Kitchener, Matthew Southgate of Woodstock, Shannon Tilley of Stratford, PE and Derek Tilley of Seaforth; and his brother-in-law Harry Crocker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (87 Goderich St W, Seaforth, ON N0K1W0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice or Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Easy Ride Transportation – One Care Home & Community Support Services, Clinton, or Northside United Church, Seaforth.
