She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Visscher; her parents, Klaas Boer and Lammigje Boer (Zomer); and her sister Miny Boer. She is survived by: her children, Landa Coletta (Ram), Bart Visscher, Charlie Visscher (Judy) and Teresa Ainslie (Jason); her grandchildren, Dina (Mark), Monika, Viktor (Jaimee), Caleb, Nathan, Chloe, Stephanie (James), Nicholaas (Liz), Emily (Alyssa), Maggie (Ricardo) and Madeline (Jibin); her sister Ina Boer; her sister-in-law Gerda Weijenberg (Gert Kolkman); and her caregiver Toronto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (456 Main St S, Exeter, ON N0M1S6). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cardiac Program, or a nursing bursary that will be set up in Maggie's name (cheques made payable to 'Landa Coletta in Trust') would be appreciated by the family.
